did connect four kill the titbox?

so much pondlife was on to this, and so quickly, that it does seem that the knell was heralded by an insider.
nobody ever wins on those things.

C4 wasn't the only game with problems on the itbox, I remember nearest the pin being done also. Then there was the security issues.

Istenem- when you refer to people as pondlife, do you mean everyone apart from you, or just everyone who isn't capable of of 15 letter words on Word Soup? Or does it rile you that C4 was worked out by non-quiz players, who were going round picking up £50 from each terminal long before you even realised what was going on? The trick lasted a hell of a lot longer than I thought it would, especially after it was removed when issue 62 came out.

Yep, gluttons for punishment. If they can't work out so much money is going, then that's their issue. Always stuff on quiz machines that pays more than it should, August 2010 is no different either.

Thought thats what you meant, but I wasn't totally sure.

Thanks for clearing that one up. Anyway gotta go, i've got my eye on some rather attractive algae, and some wretched amphibian has stolen my Lillypad.

In other news I believe we can wave goodbye to The Crystal Maze. Or at least the £50 jackpot version.

Did anyone ever claim the £50 from that?
