can anyone smell fish?

come on QM, fruitchat knows that you abhor any game of skill which is not Q&A. if you ever want a stooge/myrmidon/acolyte/lackey who can do the word games, get a pot of hard-boiled sweets in your glove compartment and i'm your boy.

any clown can do PLOD: that is why it is popular.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Istenem, you are welcome to come along with me as my Word Soup shotgun for an outing.

I know you're pretty good at playing it. So how about you pay me £50 for a day to come on one of my routes and you keep everything you win. I get to a lot of Thicko Arms.

Had a nice £8 win from this last night + £1 for the 180 bonus.

Lost in the final to Wayne Mardle, first time he's won anything in ages.

Painfully obvious it was going to pay though since in round 2 in the previous 2 games the computer did a 10 and an 11 darter, whereas when I got to the final, in the semis Taylor was hitting 43 and the like.

Did get the lovely big golden "9 darter" across the screen when I beat Klassen. Which was nice.

He stops when it puts the £2 at the top.

Anybody seen the 'new' version yet? The slightest of changes, but massive in the effect it has on the ability to win as much.

What?!
If his only skill is being old and memorising lists of shit he has no such reputation.

Being old and memorising lists of pointless shit: £70-£80 p/h

Being able to clear Word Up: Impresses the three other people in the world who are bothered that you can do it (all of them on here), and making 50p per game.

Surely that should have been:

Being old and memorising lists of pointless shit......priceless!

Just a thought....

Imagine someone so sad as to:

- be old (relatively speaking) AND
- know lots of useless rubbish AND
- be able to clear Word Up on a reasonably regular basis AND
- be somewhat fanatical re grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Good job I don't know anyone like that ...
