That was funny lugsy. but its not funny when u see freinds loose there house, there family and there life to gambling, its a serious issue. I mean u can get on you high horse like lee sometimes does captain discipline and all. I mean lee seems like a nice guy dont get me wrong but some ppl cant controll themselves

Gambling probs have got 100 times worse since roulette went in the bookies! A milkman down here got 6 months for putting the milk round money in there every week until he got caught!

maverick ,,,,,,,,,, or anyone else for that matter ,,,,,,,,,, if i have offended anyone with my bravado swagger ,,,,,,,, then i am truly sorry . ,,,,,,,,,, a lot of it is just that ,,,,,, bravado .

anyone on here that has met me personally , will tell you my captain discipline is sort of a characterture of the real me , ,,,,,,, in real life im humbled by the simple gestures that people do for each other , and never put anybody down , or judge them by their financial situation . ,,,,,,,,,, yes ive got a few quid through working hard , but im first to put my hand in my pocket on days/nights out with friends/family etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ask any member on here thats spent any time with me ,,,,,,,,,,,,, dont take everything to heart m8 ,,,,,,,, fruitchat is for having a laugh ,,,,,,,,,,,, and im no better player than you , or anyone else ,,,,,,,,,,, i just have more control than most , thats all.

ive seen first hand (with my best m8 bik) the effects of a serious gambling addiction , he's the most kindest bloke you could meet , but 15 years plus working for m&s , and he still lives from paycheque to paycheque , with no savings whatsoever .

im all for regulation of the gambling industry ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but as long as the suits at the top are making money ,,,,,,,,, nothing will ever really change.

self regulation is the only way , and im sorry if that sounds harsh

i feel truly compassionate and sorry for some people ,,,,,,,,, i do .

but were all hypocrites deep down ,,,,,,,,,,, because we (as pro players) live off the misery of others.
Little discipline = BIG issue

turns out it was free i had to sit in a different room, the non problem gamblers room which i thought was ironic. the recovered gamblers who ran it all drive new bms and audi's which is an indication it works. hopefully we can sort his problem out one day at a time

Only when the three Billy Goat's Gruff turn up at the bridge. That's the equivalent of Captain Discipline getting three icons boards in a day!

Attending GA meetings is free. I've known people in horrible debt to roulette, drive around in this year plate Audis and BMWs. Not of course suggesting the process doesn't work, I think it's a great opportunity for recovery, but with some, image is the last facade standing.

You have to make an absolute stand NOT to gamble, there is no grey area. Abstinence from gambling can leave a huge hollow crater as it is such a time consuming compulsive activity. Good luck in finding something else less destructive and hopefully far more positive, to fill that gap.

I remember when Itboxs first appeared. I went through a stage on these losing a weeks wage in 20 minutes. Realising the fuckers never played fair and always found a number you hadn't bet on, I soon lost interest in them.

The only time I play them now is if I've got a couple of quid worth of silver in my pocket for 1 spin.

Any random based number generator I just don't trust and prefer a real wheel at least.

They were quite fat. I preferred their slimmer successor and also think the black HD Itboxes are fatter than the slimmer successor which is the least fat of all the generations of Itbox, but not as fat as the original VERY fat Itboxes which I originally described there as quite fat so as not to hurt their feelings.
