Driving!!

Post by MrRed »

Whoooooooooooo

Passed my driving test today :D

I took a one week driving course
Did it over 5 days, 36 hours in total

Best thing i have ever done
Very intense and draining but i enjoyed it
Great feeling to be told 'It's a PASS'

Now time to look for a car

congrats m8

start small and cheap ,,,,,,,,, with everything .

your insurance is already gonna be high ,,,,,,,,,,,,, so reduce it , and other costs by purposely buying a low group car ,,,,,,,,,,, get a 1 litre engine with low emissions and like me and my 107 your only looking at £35 yearly rd tax aswell.

also get something you dont really give a shit about ,,,,,,,,, for the inevitable scrapes n prangs etc ,,curb scatches etc,,,,,,,, at least for the first 6 months whilst getting used to the roads. (ive been driving years and i still have em , mind im shit lol)
Little discipline = BIG issue

insurance is very steep for new young drivers.
its a bit cheaper when your 25 or over but being as ive got 3 kids and one in the oven (due in 4 weeks) ive had to buy a peaople carrier and i went on compare the meerkat and was quoted £245 a month!
then i lied a bit on elephant.co.uk and i can get it for £135 a month but thats still alot of moolah!
my mum pays £280 a YEAR!

good idea.
Lie when answering questions for your insurance, then act all suprised when you have a crash and find the insurance company refuses to pay out.

You do realise the company will accept your information on trust but thoroughly check it the first time you make a claim.

You are basically driving without insurance now.

calm down.
No need to get shitty with me.

so you have a crash and your kids are in the car, what happens then?
what if your kids are injured in the crash and you want your insurance to cover their injuries?
You invalidate your insurance by giving false details.

you may not realise it, but you are commiting a criminal offense.

my mate is from a rich family and got a corsa... decided he didn't like the standard alloys, so got some new aftermarket ones, and despite our best advice to keep the old ones so he could put them on if anything was to go wrong, sold them.

One day he was driving fast, went striaght into the back of a jag and did his car in... insurance company noticed he didn't have his standard alloys, and refused to pay out, cost him(his dad) £11k... certainly worth thinking about for the sake of a few hundred quid.

if im ever going fast and im not sure im gonna stop, i just aim for off the road, better writing a shitty car off than dealing with insurance for someone elses, my GF got smashed into, and she's still dealing with it months later.

I got a 3 month ban about a year ago and still havnt bothered re applying for my licence.

The reason being as it was alcohol related I have to do a medical to get it back, and going round 20 pubs a day isnt really the best 'profession' to keep alcohol levels low.

Ive looked into it and apparently i will need to abstain from drinking for a month or so to let my body recover.

Im giving it a go now, I do love the beer though

i dont give a shit as long as the a.n.p.r camera's dont go off and they wont coz the car appears covered.
pokerpete wrote:you may not realise it, but you are commiting a criminal offense.
