you realise you are suggesting you pay someone 65k a year?

and i wouldnt have thought you'd pay them more than you make, so you must be taking about double that?

or have you got one round of machines that no-one else knows are there and you do one round a month or summat?
No, definatly don't pay him 65k a year because I probably only use him on average about 12 weeks per year, but it's sometimes a bit longer. Couple of the top boys are millionaires so 250 per day is nothing to some, but might seem a lot to others.

Drivers wage

Exactly! Its about what your happy paying! I prefer 25% in case im behind someone, couldnt bring myself to give a driver 250 then struggle to make that! If i make 300 then they get 75 which is fair for a day.

For £20 you get a dog eared A-Z and a mini metro.

For £250 you get someone you can trust, super quad band distributor linked GPS titanium maxi pro Sat Nav with in built value detector and a Rolls Royce.

If you've got all the latest most stylish emptiers, you can afford to be driven in the latest most stylish form of motorised transport.

Some of the top boys get chauffered around in UFOs as they know some of the top boys in Jodrell Bank.

Were you doing that Joker's Wild on Jupiter Redlinesman?

To put you in the picture, I make about £24,351 per year after food, tax, petrol and FOBT quibbles, that is from planet Earth.

With Intergalactic playing, after deducting lux emissions from the dark belt, maxi grav paks, lunar letchers, asteroid insurance etc I make almost 10 frooglions a year.

Have that.

12 weeks x 250 x 5 days per week (say) = 15,000 pounds. If the driver is worth it, super reliable, bodyguard and someone to talk to, then why not ?

ps Anyone want a driver !!!! . I would offer my services for half that.

16 driving lessons at £30 per hour = £480
A decent second hand car = £3000
Overall cost = ~£3500

Paying a driver 25-50% of about £1.5-£2k a week for life = I know what I'd prefer.

I doubt the millionaire claim also spyder, but ur wrong about balance sheets being negative at the end of the year for many players.

Even at my level towards the bottom of the information ladder I'm still turning a reasonable profit each year, certainly more than what I could earn sittin in an office for 40 hrs a week bored shitless!!

I've no doubt there are a 'few' top end guys that could touch 6 figure salaries but not 7 figures year after year!!

Until the situation changes(which it's looking like it may do) I'll continue to do so. I just about have enough savvy to go back to 'work' should I need to.

6 figures is certainly realistic for some, but certainly not 7! Some have been playing 10-20 years and a few have come out millionaires. With all the tricks and emptiers going on in the last few years, certain people have made an absolute killing. It may seem a bit of a fantasy and unbelievable for the average player, but these sums of money are not exagerated. Know a guy who's just retired from the game and left the country at the age of 36, he got married 2 years ago. He's been putting long hours in for the last 20 years and has never ever gambled on anything. He paid cash for his first house in 1995 and has never looked back. He's one of the original old school back in the day when there was no 'players' and he has little time for so called 'players' in the modern day. He says the game is about to die, and he's not intetested in hanging around to experience the decline. Pastures new is his philosophy and to a large extent, I fully agree.
