Chris Moyles

Post by Cardinal Sin »

Just reading his name in a previous post moved me enough to spark another poll.

Personally, I think he is one of the most overrated, unfunny people ever to be put on the radio. It rankles me to the bone that he is paid £630,000 to present his ego boost, otherwise known as the breakfast show. Half his repertoire consists of making silly noises and using slightly risque language.

The biggest crime, however, is the fact that the other people on his show, such as Comedy Dave, really are quite likeable and funny. However, more often than not, they'll be halfway through something amusing, and the Useless Oaf will cut in with something puerile and worthless.

So, who here likes him?

I agree, although i do like the show as a whole, but i think it'd be better without him!

So why did you vote Legend if you think he's a tosser?

(I'm assuming that was yourself)!

I voted for arsehole. Can't stand the man, absolute idiot.

Has Louis XIV voted yet? I'd like to know how he feels about it all!

Another wise decision Matt!!!

Louis XIV won't cast his vote unless it ends up in a tie. But I think we all know which way he will vote...

I find him funny, i agree he maybe overated and paid but i still like him (though i rarely listen to him :? )

What radio station do you all listen too? I either listen to xfm or radio 2, sometimes radio 1 but they do play a lot of crap sometimes.

I've given up on listening to music on the radio.

It's Radio Scotland all the way. Or at least it used to be before the radio in my car broke down. So now it's interference and crackling all the way.

I don't really listen to music radio at all (only on my brief drive into work each morning - Chris Moyles then does make me chuckle now and again)

I'm a five-live man really. Like to know what's going on around me... :) And of course, keep abreast of footy / cricket news...

A bizarre story (OT!) I started listening to 5live when I was about 13, and my mum had been taken into hospital and I thought she was going to die (what's it called when your appendix bursts inside you?) anyway, I couldn't get to sleep without listening to it, and got hooked. I still put it on most evenings to send me to sleep like I did thirteen years ago... :)

Bit like Wayne Rooney then?? Although I'm guessing you didn't get paid millions of pounds for that revelation.

Don't bother with the radio myself. Too many adverts, and too much music that i don't want to listen to. Seeing as there is 10,000+ songs on this PC, i'll just make my playlists from here. I'm actually listening to Mike & The Mechanics - Nobody Knows at the mo. There's so much choice! :D

(On second thoughts, revealing that i'm listening to that might not have been a good idea? :P )

Wayne Rooney got paid £450,000,000,000 for the rights to his autobiography. One of the revelations was that he can't sleep at night without the light, radio and preferably a hoover on.

Has anyone read it? Does he talk about the Scouse granny prozzie he was doing?
