cheap hoppers

Post by trayhop123 »

it cant be just me surely ????

anybody else notice that pacmans/amazings seem to be fitted with shitty hoppers , ive had several lately that ive had to put claims in for ,,,,,,,,, and loads where ive asked barstaff permission to switch off n on , in the hope that they will right themselves . (about a 50% success rate)

they spit one or two coins at ya then sort of go on a whiring struggle before deciding if they want to spit out the rest or not.

cheap components ????

Yep - I've found that with almost every Amazing I've played - always managed to get the coins fully, but it doesn't fill you with confidence. :|

I have got an "Amazing" that will accept every 1 in 3485372 coins; they all pay out properly, touch wood.

I've got a striker and an autopay Amazing that like to jam up. To be fair the autopay is when I cup my hands over the thing for too long and it backs up. A simple flick of the switch solves that one. The striker is always getting itself in a bot of a jam but usually manages to sort itself out.
