for the cbm 64 for example , that game was the last ninja and it's sequels , regardless of your playing tastes and preferences , here was a game that did everything right , graphics , sound , presentation , control etc , simply hadn't been seen at this level before , it was the commodors finest hour and never was the same height surpassed or even reached again.
weather you like driving games or not ,(taste is a moot point) few can deny that the playstation 1 reached its peak with gran tourismo , remember when you first witnessed them replays?? it seamed almost real , and no game ever came close to that level of realism and top notch game mechanics and production values before or since.
with this in mind , here we have uncharted 2,,,,, for the ps3 ,,,,,, now the first one was/stil is an awesome experience blending top notch storytelling with fantastic gameplay and graphics to die for ,,,,,,,,,, but number 2 is on a plateau far beyond anything thought possible on a ps3 ,,,,,,, and so early on in the ps3 lifespan ,,,,,,,,
i cant possibly convey the experience this game offers in words, there are parts of this game that simply make you shudder ,,,,,,,, im not even going to attempt to explain just how good this game is anymore ,,,,,,,,,,, buy it , borrow it , steal it if you have to ,,,,,,,,, but just experience it .
if you dont have a ps3 ,,,,,,,,, buy one for this game ,,,,,,,,,, theres nothing to touch it on any other system whatsoever .
im sure crosby will back me up on this shortly .
lee.
quick edit: have completed this now on normal setting ,,,,,,,,,, what a game .
now theres co-op online and multiplayer deathmatch to try
