barcrest wont pay out

barcrest wont pay out

hi i have got a barcrest tic tac toe works fine but wont pay out its the old tube type please could some one give me aclue thanks

For a start, I would ensue that all of the tubes, assuming there's more than one, are filled with sufficient coins to cover the sensors. Check that all of the solenoids are actually connected, as a common failing is the breaking off of the connectors through metal fatigue after years of use. Have you tried getting the solenoids to pulse it test mode ?
I know this isn't very specific, but you've not given much to go on at the moment. Hope this helps somewhat.

hi have changed the seleniods for ones i know work and the sensors for coin levels test fine. it seems like theres no power there but i cant fin any blown fuses in machine ,they just dont fire but the meter clicks away like its payed out ,heads mashed with it :(

hi
dubble check the fuses on the power supply. If thats dosent work i would trace the wiring back and check any plugs/conections that may be loose. Do the pay tubes slide out of the machine/ if they do there will be a plug just behind them. Failing that i would say it was your main board. i had this problem on an old scorpion 2 bfm machine and it turned out to be the scorp...hope this help....Liam

hi yes i have checked all that it seems fine i was wondering could it be my power supply unit because certain things are run through dif fuses could a section of it be down just a thought

Could be...yes
The fuse for the pay out solonoids is 50V 10A

i think u might be correct about the board because everything else looks fine
thats going to cost ,if i get one do i have to change any thing on the main board
