I am going to take the wife away for a weekend in January for a final break before the birth of our baby in March. Can anybody from that neck of the woods recommend anywhere?
Apart from weymouth which seems abit obvious, which are the nice villages around there where we could get a decent hotel/boutique b&b?
Machines are off the agenda as well as steep hills!

And Bournemouth isnt an option as i have barred myself from there.

Cheers in advance, Steve.

I would have thought Bournemouth missed the first criteria of being nice... but anyways, since I lived down South for a decade or so, I can furnish you with some recommendations:-

Lulworth Cove.
New Forest.
Christchurch.

Yeah the New Forest is lush, I'd strongly recommend going there. Anywhere from Cadnam (Southampton way) down towards somewhere like Ferndown or Wimborne Minster or Christchurch is a nice part of the world IMO.
Bored of the grind.
