Am finding this game rather frustrating because:
- The program is a touch too slow; it takes too long for it to register input
- The program (especially with the sound on, it seems) struggles at the start of each cube
- You have to wait for 0.5s after one word has disappeared to input the next one
- itbox screens are generally sh*t, being either poorly calibrated; curved; flat but inset behind an over-large screen surround; or just unresponsive.
- All the above lead to typos, meaning that the clearance bonus is then impossible.

I've got some sympathy with Bob - a misaligned screen seriously reduces your scoring potential. Which misalignment will it be today? The screen out by a uniform amount in one direction, or the screen magnified/contracted error? In fairness, I seem to remember once clearing a WU where the horizontal difference between where the tiles actually were and where the screen said they were was about 3 tiles.

Not guillty, but you gave me the opportunity to indulge in some pointless bragging. Got over 12k recently.ggdr wrote:Saw some monstrous Word Blox scores at the Arndale Centre in Manchester yesterday. Possibly 10 instances of a 10,000 plus score, with the top being 11,3xx. Anyone want to claim this?
