Am finding this game rather frustrating because:

- The program is a touch too slow; it takes too long for it to register input
- The program (especially with the sound on, it seems) struggles at the start of each cube
- You have to wait for 0.5s after one word has disappeared to input the next one
- itbox screens are generally sh*t, being either poorly calibrated; curved; flat but inset behind an over-large screen surround; or just unresponsive.
- All the above lead to typos, meaning that the clearance bonus is then impossible.

I've seen a player in action who has nothing but positive things to say about this game ........!

I've got some sympathy with Bob - a misaligned screen seriously reduces your scoring potential. Which misalignment will it be today? The screen out by a uniform amount in one direction, or the screen magnified/contracted error? In fairness, I seem to remember once clearing a WU where the horizontal difference between where the tiles actually were and where the screen said they were was about 3 tiles.

Yes, the level for the JP is indeed fixed, but I suspect not in the way in which you were meaning when you made that post.. (this game has clearly been reprogrammed, but you're not likely to notice unless you can get 10k+ with regularity).

Saw some monstrous Word Blox scores at the Arndale Centre in Manchester yesterday. Possibly 10 instances of a 10,000 plus score, with the top being 11,3xx. Anyone want to claim this?

Not guillty, but you gave me the opportunity to indulge in some pointless bragging. Got over 12k recently.

Nice one, dmac.

Ernest and I spotted a 2000+ in Leeds a couple of years ago, hence the disappearance of the Boggle scores section from the selves-congratulatory vb website.

I would love to see someone rock out a massive score on Boggle. I've had the odd moment where everything is flowing but would usually get derailed by trying Scrabble words that the game doesn't take.

Shame to see Puzzler disappear.
