Biggest top(ish) yet!

Post by ob »

And the award goes to barcrest's 777 cabinet machine, Captain Jackpots.

Put a few quid in out of jest, gave the feature, which is a pirate kicking a chest of gold which keeps spewing out money for a while, which gave £50.... not bad I thought for £3 in....

Hang on whats this, pick a chest thing its done after... picked the left one... ooh £50 sweet, then again left £50 SWEEEEET then finally left again for ANOTHER £50.... Totalling £200, at which point it informs me the maximum repeats have been achieved.

Btw just for you JG I played out that hammer horror top trumps game, £80 to get it, went for £80! Nothing special there then...

Tried the all in poker, £15 in got to the £50 on the gamble which you need to get for "MEGA find the lady", then it does a find the queen for each extra £10 until you miss the queen, where 3 out of 4 cards are queens. Got the queen 9 running times for a £140 total. Seems a bit ironic it wasn't the queen at £140 exactly I thought to myself.

Considered playing on the other games, but had a madness total of over £400 in the bank between the 2 machines for pennies in which they changed up.

WOW... spawny or what.... :P

i love the irony of you posting about how rubbish certain machines are and how people should steer clear of them ,especially your pet hate of 'bellfruit shite'. and then we here about you lumping b3's ,roulette and now these 777 cabs. it really does crease me right up sometimes , as i understand it, you play these for fun rather than profit and can afford to lose so it's no big deal really ,but you truely are a flukey sod

lol yeh exactly though I only played those things for a laugh, didn't expect to win a stack on them! As for b3's haven't played one for months, roulette very rarely play too.... to be fair though I'm certainly up on roulette both in FOBT's and online, which is why I tried to make the point on here that they aren't rigged!!!

Thing is when I see a new machine (not £500jp, I mean £35/70), I'm usually intrigued enough to just row it out and see what happens (although obviously not on bfm hi techs/empire hitechs etc.etc.). Once I've done it and figured it's rubbish I'll never play it again.....

Where I castigate people is playing machines known to be shit!!!

This style has recently let me find out a very profitable machine, which I KNOW no one else is doing... infact in all honesty I doubt if people will for months.....

I guess you're on about the new 2p/ £2.40 jackpot (£70 jackpot on 4p play) Puffing Billy on FOBT in William Hill from 7am until 7.15am. I played one of these out for the first time last night and it cost £2.24 for the £2.40 jackpot.
This activated the winning sequence which was confirmed by me placing £100 on black and getting black. Alas it was only the one number winning sequence as I did £100 on black and it came down green.
Then 18p dropped out of my back trouser pocket to leave me 2p down.
Not a bad day's work.

Here are my COMPLETE 70s list :- (if it wasnt for Wetherspoons getting them midweek, I'd have 6 less on the list - Bedfordshire really is pathetic).

Dream Factory
Big Deal
Terminator
Hilo Silver
Perfect Game
Road 2 Riches (Video)
Popeye
The Italien Job #24
Simply NoDeal
Empire Strikes Back

I do not know of any of the non-reds to be profitable.

I thought the DOND's were until I managed to lose on average a 100 a unit a few times over after the %age had 'settled' and they are now back to being "highly illegal, cannot and will not conform to target %age bellfruit rapage (tm)", just when I thought they had released 'fair' programming.

cheers, Mark

Ob - Dont get how you can possibly ever ever ever make such a statement.

The "no-one else is doing it" bit. How do you know, and how can you seriously believe such a statement? I'm doing ok off a couple new 70's, doubt I'm the only one tho, as its kinda obvious. Even then I have played less than 10 so could just be luck! Given how long 70's have been out, you can't have played masses of your secret one either.

Also, if you just "row it out" I assume you mean push for a pot, that playing style wont give away many secrets, thats for sure!

Dont mean to offend, but its a simply crazy thing to state.
