I've gone in for a few lately, and they aint been too bad, if i aint managed the £30 early doors its gave Revolver, and a few times they have gone a bit extra too, they do seem better for going over £35 on Revolver unless i've been fortunate on the handful i've played.

In my opinion they are pretty poor, and I won't be playing them unless absolutely necessary. Which won't be for a while hopefully.

I think there shit tbh can cost £20-£30 very quickly before you realise your fucked and then you have to play on.So my philosophy with em is id just rather not bother as the cons far outway the pros in my humble opinion!

Well all I do is check them and if a decent amount go for it. But if too far off I don't put a single quid in them.

forget all that "see where it gambles to".

Yeah i'm not a major fan either....had a new one the other day cost £18 for a board. Couple of hits, thought sod it i'll DOG it, if it wins leave, if it loses i'm in for a session....luckily 5 winspins for £14 and a £4 hit, settled with the loss and moved. Can be ok but the horrendous board costs just put me off them really. :x

What's the best method to play these? I'm not 100% sure, but just to show that it's not all about hanging on the phone, waiting for someone to tell you the right sequence, here is a method guess.

Method guess #6 for Star Wars, New Hope. Dark side is another pot.

The reason I thought this may be the case, was because boards offerred from Dark Side, even when the machine was capable of £8-£12 boards, where often tight. Death on 2/11 gambling for the second mask.

After testing today, that is not the case.

Method guess #4 for Star Wars, Empire Strikes back. Having no numbers on win line and taking Imperial Attack and holding down the reels, will award jackpot. Think Hot Shot on Lucky Strike. Think super drop zone. Think, what's that other one? Jurassic Pork.
Alas, it just plays the fanfare, LED flashes "*** WINNER ***" and you get naff all.

You have to try these things. Method guess #3 for Wiyb was golden. The first two involved trying to change stake for a superhold onto dial.

Sometimes, there's no substitute for a good old fishing rod though.

Ah, the legendary JG Method Guess, erm, Method - now applied to SWANH (Why couldn't it be Star Wars, A New Knight?) Anyway...
Jurassic Pork.
Heh, not seen one of those for (65,000,000) years - even in a seaside arcade!

I'm going to have a Method Guess #7: Gambling against the 'red' Hi/Lo on your very first gamble causes the next board to be a SW board. Provided you were on a 13 on the number reel. Now, that's just stupid.

PS: Is there a 'Number Cruncher' feature on SW? ;)

Yes, nudge blaster. But it's much tighter than R2R. You need jackpot to be on for only 1 or 2 steps really. And then it usually stops dead rather than carry on for the Star wars streak.

Yes Mr Croz, these do grow on you when you get a couple of flukey wilds say for not much. In the right setting doesn't do too much harm to peek and like Ob says, I would imagiune they'd be less pointless on £70 jackpot.

Anyhow, they grow on you until BANG!

The £18 board blocked at £3 and properly blocked, not just a stray, but quite a bit behind.

I feel that none of us are seeing the full picture on these. However I did say that about Monopoly HP and still no emptier.
