started to play this at my local, just wondered. how does the feature revolver work and what is "swapping"

Revolver
The number reel spins around and you have to stop it by pressing 'Start' (Microsoft logic, there!) When it stops, the two numbers shown are added together and that's how many steps up the cash trail you will advance. Using your Philbert, you should be able to get the win that you're after. ;)

Swapping
The act of changing between 50pence a play and 30pence a play.

thanks! I take it that there are different profiles on "red" and "blue". For example the blue profile may pay out more than the red (or vice versa) depending on how many people have played each profile??

Yep, although that's not 'always' the case. You'll get a feel for it on the machine you're playing as to whether it's worth swapping or not...
