Bulbs

Post by Martal~Wombat »

I need to order some of the larger fruit machine bulbs, the ones that go behind the reels and buttons, does anybody know what size to order, looked on ebay but seems like quite a few different sizes, types?

I'd be very careful about them bulbs,

It states 2.2Watt, most machines use 100mA bulbs i.e. 1.2 Watt

Only time I've every used 2.2Watt bulbs is in an old Ace coin machine, and then only in the reel units, putting them in the main loom or the buttons resulted in blowing up the mpu!

Check the bulbs your taking out and make sure they match.

You definitely don't want to be using 2.2watt anymore, reasons as above.

I will do you a slightly better deal than that anyway on 1.2watt.

Indeed, it would certainly put a strain on the psu and lamp driver if you replaced a lot in some machines. :(
Just what an Epoch in particular really wouldn't need!

Fairly normal for Epoch to be honest!
The original design did have that little overheating problem...
I take it you are selling Mk 2 boards?
