Given my weather extended journey time this morning, managed to scrutinise the papers carefully today- must have included the same publication as you.

Anyway , founded in 1698 which brewery claims to be the oldest in England?

Youngs?
Is it a brewer or site of an actual brewery you are after?

I had a pint of Youngs the other day. Must be under license.

Harveys? (only because i live 15 minutes away from the brewery and couldnt be seen to overlook them and then be shown up!)

Its the name of the brewer that I am after.

Youngs was taken over by charles wells and production shifted to the latters site in bedford AFAIK. Youngs pubs now all serve bombardier which is wells' flagship tipple.
