I've been reading the forum and have read a couple of references to a post on this forum where there is some sort of answer list or system for Football Crazy, and as a result Football Crazy has vanished from most quiz machines. I know a machine however which still has this game, and it is quite heavily played.
I thus have 2 questions:
1) Will this be an updated version where this list no longer applies?
2) Where can I find this list
There was indeed a list, and it may even still be available on an old post on here, but it wouldn't be that lucrative for two reasons:
(i) the game can protect itself very well, in that it can only offer 25 points per answer and want 500 points to win £1 and then a similar jump for each subsequent prize
(ii) after about 1000 points, even when the game is in a good mood, you start to get general categories like 'All About Football', where the answers can be taken from any of the other categories (or may even be taken from a separate list entirely)
In other words, you won't get rich playing this one!
One other point - this game appears on the current release of one of the main machines (the Indego) so you haven't actually uncovered a rare beast in machine terms.

We don't play it all that often, usually just in our lunch break. We're generally quite decent at it anyway and usually make a small profit from it. It seems to be one of those games that when it's being nice, it's very nice.
