The board needs to be stripped from case then you will see the battery, simply de-solder it
pic attached showing location of battery

To remove the case you will need to bed those metal tabs upwards with pliers.

mines made by cool games. any ideas what sort of battery i need and where i can get one from? The alarm doesn't go off everytime but the machine isn't remembering how much is in the hopper etc. Thanks,Dan!

It's a Games Media brand then, rebuilding Global machines with Epoch or possibly Eclipse.

Does your main board look like the one pictured above?

The battery could be going 'naturally flat' if the machine is not use for a long period,
as the battery aint exactally the biggest either (65mAh) because the machine is designed to be on about 11 hours a day.

That's the correct replacement but you could bodge a bigger Ah rated battery on 'fly leads' that holds a bigger charge

That's the one as Mr. 6502 says.

That one will work out expensive from there though...
