mem reset error on billy the quid
I have just bought a billy the quid off my mate and when i turn it on the alarm sounds and it says mem reset error. Anyone any ideas what this is and how to fix it.

hi i am getting the same on my machine, its not EVERY time i switch it on though its once ever 5 or 6 times, it comes up for error 42 mem reset. it loses all settings including my fucking note acceptor that i have to keep inputting the code!!! if its the battery how much they cost where can i get one from?? any help please thanks

Replacement battery
The battery could be going 'naturally flat' if the machine is not use for a long period,
as the battery aint exactally the biggest either (65mAh) because the machine is designed to be on about 11 hours a day.
Here ya go, get ya soldering iron out...

That's the correct replacement but you could bodge a bigger Ah rated battery on 'fly leads' that holds a bigger charge
as the battery aint exactally the biggest either (65mAh) because the machine is designed to be on about 11 hours a day.
