Re: Reel King hopper problems
There is a microswitch underneath the hopper bowl, it switches with the weight of the coins in the hopper.dazzer wrote:Hi im having a problem with the pound hopper comes up with an error saying hopper swich error, any help on clearing this

Depending what machine and how old it is,Astra Used Azkoyen hoppers in their dome top machines, quite a few of those hoppers had only a switch at the coin exit, later replaced by opto.
The exiting coin had to push on a roller arm which in turn depressed the switch.
Common faults were the roller/arm had broken or collapsed or the wired micro-switch had failed, also check that exiting coins move the roller arm enough to operate the switch.
I have used Astra as an example because if there was a problem with the hopper exit switch the alarm showed as hopper switch.
