fleetwood pier conflagration

yarmouth was attempted arson(3 or 4 fires have been started locally recently) ,only averted by a vigilant gardener ,there is no way the owners (the threadwells ,whom ive known since i was a kid) would torch their own property .

I live about 2 mins from fleetwood, for my sins!

There had been uproar for a while that a local comedian wanted to develop te site into luxury apartments...overlooking heysham/barrow-in-furness! hardly luxury.

I was on the pier not that long ago, it was dead, so depressing its untrue, such a bastard shame but when flights out of blackpool airport now cost fuck all who is gon holiday n fleetwood anymore?

so whats next, north, central or south pier? place your bets now please.
