Good call! I've been pugging a bit away recently to invest in a notch display - should be able to go for something this / next weekend. My eyes are shockingly bad (if I were to take my contacts out, I couldn't see the screen in-front of me!) but with them, I can see pretty damn good. ;)

Anyone wall-mounted a huge TV yet? I'm a bit concerened that I'll end up knocking my house down if I try it (lol!)

Oh, yep and MW2 is indeed going to be huge. Watched a 9min trailer on Tube t'other day - exquisite stuff! :)

Yeah MattV, I could see you doing your exercises in front of your wall mounted TV like that fella on the advert!! :P

There is a MW2 review on youtube and yes, it recieved 9.7/10. The game is looking awesome but I hope it isn't too overhyped and its gonna have to go some to beat the fun factor of Borderlands though.

for the cbm 64 for example , that game was the last ninja and it's sequels , regardless of your playing tastes and preferences , here was a game that did everything right , graphics , sound , presentation , control etc , simply hadn't been seen at this level before , it was the commodors finest hour and never was the same height surpassed or even reached again.

weather you like driving games or not ,(taste is a moot point) few can deny that the playstation 1 reached its peak with gran tourismo , remember when you first witnessed them replays?? it seamed almost real , and no game ever came close to that level of realism and top notch game mechanics and production values before or since.

with this in mind , here we have uncharted 2,,,,, for the ps3 ,,,,,, now the first one was/stil is an awesome experience blending top notch storytelling with fantastic gameplay and graphics to die for ,,,,,,,,,, but number 2 is on a plateau far beyond anything thought possible on a ps3 ,,,,,,, and so early on in the ps3 lifespan ,,,,,,,,

i cant possibly convey the experience this game offers in words, there are parts of this game that simply make you shudder ,,,,,,,, im not even going to attempt to explain just how good this game is anymore ,,,,,,,,,,, buy it , borrow it , steal it if you have to ,,,,,,,,, but just experience it .

if you dont have a ps3 ,,,,,,,,, buy one for this game ,,,,,,,,,, theres nothing to touch it on any other system whatsoever .

im sure crosby will back me up on this shortly .

lee.

quick edit: have completed this now on normal setting ,,,,,,,,,, what a game .

now theres co-op online and multiplayer deathmatch to try

When the Saturn came out, must have played Sega Rally for about three months !!!!

harry , sega rally and virtua fighter 2 and daytona were all i played on the saturn.

matt ,,,,,,,,, took a bit of doing but ,,,,,, 47inch full hd lg wall mounted in living room......on a fixed bracket (gotta have a good solid wall ) and 42 inch philips amberlight adjustable arm wall mounted in bedroom,,,,,,,,,,,, if your gonna do it , do it right and be prepared to spend 150 or so just on the bracket ,,,,,,,,,,, oh as for the tv ,,,, check out your local ritchersounds or online ,,,,,because you just add 10%of the purchase price on any tv for a 5yr guarantee . ,,,,,, ps matt ,,,, invest in a decent surround sound kit too ,,,,, your movies and games sound amazing .

lugs ,,,,,, yeah start a boasting thread ,,,,,,,, i'll take a look at it ,,,,,,, if only to see whose coming in 2nd place :P

and uncharted is unbelievable ,,,,,,,, takes ages to complete ,,,( if played properly ) with huge replay value ,,,,,,,, and multiplayer co-op is awesome.

i played it on the hardest setting and it took me 15 hours and a few minutes.. and i didnt get stuck on any of the puzzles... under 12 hours would be very very fucking difficult.. it'd be as likely as hitting the last spin on a guac by hitting mike tyson in the face and knocking his chin onto the button as you knocked him out for the mega streak
