There are several Puzzlers still about - mebbe they were just removed from machines that registered some portent of possible bummages.

Is this making a comeback? Seen it on a couple of local machines, one of which I'm almost sure it disappeared from when it got taken off overnight.

pleased to see this one back. i can't discern any major changes, whatever problems there were in the code have obviously been chipped out. coupled with the fact that i've come round to jetting jiggy with my left hand, itboxes look attractive to me at the moment.

hit 1530 today (last round a tricky wordsearch wanting ONE, TWO, FOUR and FIVE but they weren't too nasty)

i hear a canard about 1873 (pre-chip)

would anyone in the know care to divulge what the recall problem was?

unfo the 1530 was on a machine without the national board. incidentally the board looks very average so far. i mistakenly got 1050 odd which made the top 50

Twas I who saw the 1873 - at the Montague Pyke Charing Cross Road. There was another 1800+ score there too.

1430 earlier is 4th in the Realm  . if there was a prize for the tourney, this game might be worth looking at. i reckon 1650 is a doable score with friendly categories.
also the other itbox in the pub has the circuitboard Bob saw. there is no way anyone got 18xx on the gaffertape titbox.
anyone in London who fancies a shot: go to montague pyke on shaftesbury avenue.
nobody ever wins on those things.

The National Board seems to be working on most machines now - Istenem's score has taken a tumble down the rankings and there is a 1573 at number one (done in Stirling). Bro and I are sitting on 17th place at the moment - very poor show. :(

More's the pity, as the National Board's got a whole list of 'em.

Hamilton Hall Spoons, Liverpool St. and Montague Pyke Lloyds have working national boads.

You certainly get about DMAC. Not only is your name plastered over most machines in Glasgow, you seem to have branched out to the picture postcard town of East Kilbride.

Yeah - you're prob right. 450s on the two anagramming tasks, 400s on sudoku and a.n.other would do it.

A prerequisite would be a poorly-played machine - on the ones near me, prebummings had reduced the chances of tv anagrams or wordsearches being partially solved to near zero.
