annual awards?

how about an annual vote for (a)the person over the year who made the biggest contribution to the site(excluding me as I suggested it!)-1 vote per person over a certain period sending vote via my own inbox to keep it confidential,a simple vote with no explanation to avoid bitchy comments.I'd publish the top 3.
(b)machine of the year-the nominations gamesnet/itbox/inde/open/indego/games warehouse

what do you think?

I would even be prepared to send the winner of a (a) a small engraved trophy out of the kindness of my heart! so it could become an annual event.

nice idea cool. my vote would go to a consistently friendly and helpful guy, hopefully that won't give the game away too much - although if you're voting for someone, why would you have any bitchy comments about them?

unfortunately my idea wasnt responded to by many contributors to the site.Hopefully,we can carry it on next year and it can grow!
