ace hi noon dodgy

Post by mk11day »

Hi all, had this ace hi noon machine for a couple of years. Worked fine, till now. Its been in a games room/converted garage idle for a few months. Went to switch it on today, power to the psu but no activity up top. No lights, movement nowt. Dont know much about these but checked the fuses on the power unit, pushed any visible plugs etc. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Michael

do you have a constant heat in your garage/gamesroom as fruitys dont take well to cold climate/dampness and periods of inactivity. check the boards for battery damage/leaks

Hi, thanks for the reply. The garage is insulated, plastered etc. No constant heat tho. Because ive been storing some furniture ive not had the use of it for while. The machine I think is 1999 model.
How do you check boards, batteries etc and are these easy parts to find? If you need any info let me know. Would like to get this working again as its good source of income, I mean entertainment during get togethers.
cheers.

is this a maygay machine? if so then its epoch tech which is famously unreliable especially when stood up inactive. lift front up and check all the rectangular boards that you can. check for battery leakage.

Hi, as far as I can see, its an Ace Coin Hi Noon machine. Tried pushing all plugs. Dont know what type of board it is. Theres red lights on the power unit at the fuses and a red light behind each reel but no main lights etc. Is it terminal?
Thanks
