Make sure the cash door it shut. If it is, make sure the switch works. Do this by turning it on and opening the cash door. It will do nothing if it's broken as the machine still thinks it open.
It was the switches. By moving the 2 centre wires off the 2 centre connectors and moving them to the outer centre connectors on both switches it is now pay play.
