Triple 7 cabinet games
I played one of these today. It's a touch-screen machine with 5 games. It's cat C and supposedly compensated / percentage based. I selected Rainbow Riches Party from the menu - a game with fairly colourful symbols with jacks, queens, kings, aces and the Guinness logo. There was also some random trigger going on with fairies (I think) appearing above the reels accompanied by little chimes. Perhaps related to the ding-ding-ding on Reel King, but it didn't seem to set anything off on RR. Anyway, I proceeded to spunk £40 and only had one reel win of £3 in all that time. What are these machines like normally? Sure I got carried away, but I did really well on AWPs earlier on this week and I considered this loss as experimental.

Ahhh so it was 3 dings I needed. I definitely didn't get that far as 3 dings, so thanks for describing it. And yeah, I was playing the bugger on 50p.Spyder wrote:probably still getting done on 50p??
btw, the dings, if you get three, it offers 1 2 or 3 "change to wilds" you have to select which reel to change to wilds, 3 = jp

Thanks JG,
I had my warning last year about cat B3s, as it can be thousands of pounds between jackpots, and it ruining lives. I just didn't realise that these cat C machines can also have drift to this extent.
I still like my cat C/D AWPs though, and as a punter, I'll mainly stick with them :-)
