Impluse - Flashback

Hi guys.... Now then, I've just bought a 'non-working' flashback machine. I want to get it back up and running. Immediate problem is that there are no lights on at all and on the lcd screen there are '?' going right across from left to right. The PSU lights are on and there are couple other lights on as well inside. It's making a tiny little buzz also... Hope this helps the 'bandit gods' to help me in solving the problem... Many Thanks

Hi mate first thing check all the connectors are pushed in properly, then check for any leakage from the battery, normally if the batterys leaked it can cause this problem, you could try getting a 2nd hand replacement board, transfer the chips and see if it initialises. Look on ebay for one.

ah, thanks. i've just read the pages on someone who had the exact same problem - as too say even the crap on the led is what i'm getting... so dow to business!!!! What is the average price of these mpu's and is ebay the best place to be getting them? Thank you very much!
