Well, yes and no. SWPs are clearly there for pubs and machine companies to make money from, not us. But if people are interested enough to join a site like this and to post about SWPs then they are also likely to have some form of critical opinion about the games they play, whether constructive or otherwise. Collectively we are also likely to look for different things in games than Joe Public, by the very fact of having signed up for this site.
It is easier to be destructive than constructive but then it is also harder and harder to find games to be positive about.
Other than Word Soup obviously...
