Alien (£70) forsale
I had a thread selling my Alien but it has been deleted by a moderator after some complete idiot posted, moaning about me being a thief and selling stolen goods!! This munter was no doubt just jealous that he could not afford to spend £3000 on an overgrown electronic plant for his living room.
Unfortunately, because I havent logged on since posting it forsale about a month ago, I was unaware of what had been going on.
The alien was bought through a reputable dealer and was delivered with the coin mech disabled as it is for use in a home environment without license - completely legal.
I would happily show the invoice to the buyer.
I am completely legit and bought it for practicing 7th heaven and with the intent to expierment on the new software. No dodgy tools have been used on it, or any extra holes have appeared. It is literally like it was when it was delivered.
So, to recap, if anyone is interested in an Alien in new condition (all meter readings are on 0), COMPLETE with manuals and keys and currently has the 0.5 software installed (allows 7th heaven) then please PM me.
I paid just under 3000 for it a couple of months ago, looking for sensible offers.
Buyer would need to collect it from Bedford and pay cash on collection.

Yeh, dealers offering me 1500/1600.
Bearing in mind, its 3k 'new', technically mine is also 'new' as the coin mech/hopper has never been used and its never been sited. So surely if anybody wanted it, they'd happily pay 2k and save 1k for what is effectively the same?
I would if the shoe was on the other foot
What really annoys me about this machine (personally), is that I never really did anything with it and certainly havent profitted from it. As soon as I got it, I was doing the CNRs etc etc so never had the time.
That and the fact two local players were battering the ones around here anyway.
Bollocks to all you idiots!

the second hand machine market it would appear is very much akin to the used car business , in the fact the depreciation margins are shocking .
my machine (whilst nowhere near as recent as mark's offering ) and a b3 so aimed entirely at a different demographic , is still only a few years old , yet im struggling to gain much interest from either the trade or the public home use sector ,,,,,,,,,, on here or ebay .
perhaps im asking too much for it?

It can be that strict yes. Various official bodies have the power to seize and destroy, and often do.

Here is an amusing photo of some suited knob from Rhondda Cynon Taf Council trying to break into an Elegance cab via the refill key lock...

Is it really that strict? No warnings/slap on the wrist?[/quote]
Not round here anyway,
They really take the piss some of these local suppliers.Several chip shops/Kebabers ect STILL have AWP'S.Even on £25.
Thats been illegal practice since the end of July, but does anyone really give a foot ?
