Fake Backing again

It's like this
You go on a red and it backs, you win £5 it stops backing because it knows it has £5 to pay out
After the fifth pound it backs again this is NOT fake backing
The machine is full whether it's refill or not, it's full

So if you play one that backs, and you get a top for £35 and leave that in the bank, it will not back until £35 has gone back in
It will back again on £36

This can catch us out as a m/c may be only £20 off but if someone has been collecting wins they could have totalled say £50 worth of red features
Eg it backs, they take toggle for £10 and leave in the bank
£3 later the machine will be £7 off
They take say any red feature for £10 now £17 off
£8 later it's £9 off they take pick a win red for £5 making it £14 off
£5 later its £9 off they take a £10 win and so on and so on
So they may have had a £50 bank but it will only be, say £20 off

You go on after and its totally killed it

Mr red you've lost the point of the original Fake backing post by BigV. He got £35 and collected but it was still backing. Just like my campers, Collected £15 and still backing.
Not the well known red trick where its backing, then you win £5 and it stops backing for the next £5

It's just the term 'fake backing' annoys me, i am sure most know the red thing anyway

it didnt empty for me so im pretty sure that wasnt the case this time. its a mystery to me either way i wont be playing it again its not on my usual route anyway.

A few Extremes do seem to keep on backing, but it's a fault, not deliverate. Newer Reds if backing are properly full, they can , if you take smaller wins and build bank, stop backing to save funds in hopper.

I've had m/c before continually back even though I have collected some of my bank and then it runs out of coins and IOU's. It is usually the mech or routing plug.

Im confused now, you are claiming that they 'intelligent' hoppers that hold extra money if they have wins in the bank; ie: hopper's full @ £125 and backs/drops-> player wins £5 and DOESNT collect-> hopper holds extra £5 to ready itself and be full even though its paid out?

If this is the case, why not just make the hopper hold more perminantly if it has the ability to do so?

The hopper can hold over £250, it is the machine that manages it's float. It knows what is in the bank and knows that it will be paid out so any coins entered will go to the hopper as MrRed says.

I'm not sure how it works, but what MrRed is saying is indeed correct. If the machine is full and backing and the player wins (say) £5, the backing will then stop until another £5 worth of credits has been entered. The 6th pound will then back again.

I don't know where that £5 'goes', as if the hopper is full, you'd expect backing regardless of what the player has banked. If someone could answer that question, I'd be interested...

Suppose it would be for security reasons or something. If every hopper held it's full potential then breakins and emptiers would cost companies more.

Had the most awesome day ever yesterday and finished nigh on £500 up! Got 4 £105 tops during the day, anyone done any better than that??

One of them was on the 50p invincible in spoons. After a £35 it was still read, rechased and to my utter surprise it went £105 followed by a £35 notation immediately after! £175 roll off about £60....unbelievable!

i have had a good day today actually had a campers repeat to £105 off bout 40 in

a CCP goin £85 off about £15

and a invincible going £105 of about £50 in

cant beat 4x £105 tops though!!
