Id second the posts by PMK and trayhop. They are rational and are explaining the situation with a degree of reasonable thinking. One things for sure is you can never be top of the tree if your just sat around waiting for a phone call all day. Spyder, believe it, you don't even know 10% of whats gone on. The only stuff you know are things in the public domain, not having a go at you, but everyones world is different and It is hard for you to comprehend what has gone on and is going on.

Not many truer words said than this...

Yes that would be interesting.

i dont doubt that theres money been made
i dont doubt that there stuff i never heard of
i do doubt that there are millionaire fruit machine players that bother playing anymore

i dont really care if i missed stuff, even if one of these top players came round to my house, and wrote down everything about everything, i wouldnt be even slightly tempted to leave my job, im not in a position to want to play fruit machines for a living,

you need to be of a particular disposition to live from going pub to pub, service to service, arcade to arcade, etc to etc, each and every day,

i lived off fruits for a year or two a few years ago, it was a laugh, spunked all the money on beer and crap and going out...

im not really into that anymore.. i just play them when im bored in a pub or walk past an arcade with half an hour to spare, im confortable, i like my job, have a nice place to live, yeah, if i had an extra £1500 a week, it# be great, i could have everything i already have in the next model up, next size up, bigger and better, but what is the price of obtaining this extra income..

im kinda bored of logging onto this site these days, we used to have a laugh on here, but its all gone a bit cliquey these days,

i talk to a couple of you reguarly, but other than that i dont think ill bother posting much anymore...

But it is good to disagree from time to time !!!

Anyone know a guy from Bristol called Dave (forgotten his surname)from the late 80's. Went to his house, five bedrooms, jag outside etecetera. Never worked and had about four guys working for him doing machines for a living. Wanted me to come and "work" for him, but it meant I had to move and couldn't be bothered really. Heard he sold up and moved to Dubai. Must be in his mid 50's by now.

Lee,playing not tooling. This guy was in his early thirties at the time. He would do the clubs and ferries. It was early Cops & Robbers era even before Smedley was running the CMA. Only went out with him one day, and he was clearing hundreds even 20 plus years ago.
