I'm irked that all these bizarre words I've never even remotely heard of are being accepted whereas the one time I attempted and managed to make a show-offy long word - QUINQUENNIAL - it was rejected! I'm pretty sure this was on a more recent version of the game too with one of the bigger dictionaries. To disallow that but allow ZZYZYVAS and suchlike is harsh! (Having said that I'm sure VBob will now go and make QUINQUENNIAL next week just to prove it's now been added to the dictionary of the very latest version!).
I see the Notts scrabble/WU expert previously mentioned on here has been busy again Found a burnt machine on my travels with a couple of anonymous 2000+ scores. No more interesting word than QUIZZICALITY tho.
Not a high-scoring word, but it did amuse me to play PUDENDA recently. Sadly there was no nearby -LLY as I quite fancied seeing if PUDENDALLY would be accepted. And I did take perverse pleasure in making QOPH not so long ago.
I joined the exalted 'QUIZZICALITIES' club last night, in the suitably glitzy location of Leicester Square Yates'. Then I arsed up the endgame, meaning I couldn't top Istenem's (extremely impressive) leading score.
To complete a triptych of bragging, even though this is the wrong thread for it: joined the similarly exalted (and possibly even more exclusive?) 1600+ club on Puzzler t'other day. And also staggered myself by jackpotting won In 60 seconds on an old Issue 54 last week. Whoo, U-S-A, etc.
