I agree with mr lugsy here, I used to watch the queens from about 40 yards away, there was 4 of them on weston pier. the funny thing was I was only about 10, used to do it on behalf of a friend whose eyesight was already fucked. but it was shoot em up that left me needing specs.

ive wore glasses since i were 5 , more a heredatory thing , from my dad me thinks , as far as there natural degresion , weather thats due to bandits the jurys stil out lol

any hows at age 20 , i had em both laserd at a cost of around 4k at the time , 16 years on there fucked again and worse than ever ,

the specialist at bupa told me they cant be re-laserd due to internal scaring, but he could fix em with lens implants at 4k an eye , fuck that , it aint the money that scares me , ive had heart probs in the past , and ide be worried about being put to sleep during the op ,

if you have to be put under for a life saving op thats differant , but just to cure my eyesight for another 10years then go under again to change the lenses every 10 years , ide be shitting meself , ,,,,,think ill stick with the goggles lol
Little discipline = BIG issue

A lot of not wanting to wear specs is purely down to vanity.

To have laser correction surgery you need to have had a steady optical prescription for one year. My eyes are all over the place. Hmmm. No Ivor Biggun songs please. No I mean my prescription changes each year. I've considered laser surgery, but that's the thing isn't it? A decade or so on and it's highly unlikely you'll still be 20/20
I'm hoping some clever widgetythingymygizmowotsit process comes out which offers painless permanent 20/20 vision. I don't ask for much do I?
To be honest I can't see how fruit machines can mess up your vision that much, although it seem judging by this thread that they do. However we have to be aware of consfounding variables. Do all fruit machine players like computer games? I think staring at a TV screen for long hours is bad for your eyes, more so that staring at a few bulbs, behind plastic behind glass. Do all fruit machine players like wanking?
