Evening all. Did anyone ever think that there were some GREAT choons on the good old C64 back in the 80s? Well, I know I certainly did, and quite a few others must too, because here's a site dedicated to remixes / remakes.
Take a look!
My personal original faves were:
-Supremacy
-Cybernoid I & II
-Eliminator
-Ace II
-Myth
-Last Ninja Remix
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
back in the day , the cbm 64 was the muts nuts , i had at any one time 100 originals not to mention the folly of my youth 100s of coppies
there were some astounding games with equally outstanding music by the likes of martin galaway , rob hubbard etc , but in my humble opinion nothing and i meen nothing will ever come close to ben's wastelands from the last ninja ,
even on my beloved (V)ideo. (I)nterface. (C)hip 20, a few years previous the sounds were a class above the bleepings of the speccy, however spectrums graphics had the vic in knots ,except the vic had muticolour udg's albeit 4 by 8 pixels. i remember once playing around with a poke code in a "for next" loop on the vic and stumbling on the exact sound effect from galaxians ,i creamed me pants
Redgamer: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! (In a sort of Noel Edmonds, opened a good box cheer!) Choons is actually a word often frivolously used in the music industry. lol
My fave artist was Reyn Oeuhard (spelling?), the main member of the Mainiacs of Noise.
