if your hobby is edifying wordgames then WU is the premiership and scrabble/word blox are pre-season friendlies against afc goole and barnstaple town. you should win (by) much more but it doesn't stretch you or give any real sense of achievement.
I could not agree less But then again, I don't play machines to be amused by them.
Much like a tight trivia game, Word Up/Soup is still profitable if you are good enough. Some scores over the weekend (VB + EWQ):
2390, 2335, 2229, 2228, 2148, 2125, 2113, lots more 2000+.
If anybody wants to add their words/scores to the national board website send me a pm or email, as I don't check FC often.
I upped my PB to the psychologically unimportant 2100 score on Monday, at the fine Hop Pole Inn in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Have also finally put in a decent score on Puzzler.
I normally consider Word Up/Soup an aperitif before embarking on the main menu of cash delights. However, I might start not playing it first, as it seems to attract idiots keen to show off their erudition (sic) who proceed to "help" you by insisting on pointing out CAT and DOG, or, if on a particularly inspired day, SEX.

Ha, too, too true!
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
pity there is not a prize for this; by the look of it there are quite a few strong players across the country. but equally satisfying that we know that the best in the country look in here.
the S of SWP is alive and kicking. at the moment GGDR is the best in a nationwide game and i reckon that people who will read this are at least 40% of the top 50. well played gents.
