Coin Flip day

Post by bigv038 »

I seem to be winning them all today - Anybody ever had a day/night like this? I suppose I'll get a day where I lose them all soon to balance it out tho :(

On another note - Anybody seen the huge freeroll you can qualify for on Ladbrokes when the billionth hand comes out?

Somebody mentioned the hand number the other night during a game - now I know what they were on about. :D Saying that, how exactly do you get entered into this freeroll - are player points involved? :?

Off topic, I got a Royal Flush last night for the first time ever, get in!! :P

You have to earn 50 Player Points on the day the billionth hand comes out. The freeroll is for a max of 6000 people so I take it its the first 6000 who earn 50 points get in.

I've had the promotional gumpf, but what's the prizepool like for the freeroll?

Also you're never going to believe this but.........

On Empire poker about two years ago I had TWO Royal Flushes within about TWO hands of each other. Iirc it was some mini $0.25/$0.5 NL HE game. I won a very small sum of big blinds.

TWO (or so) nights ago I had a Royal Flush in a heads up £5 tournament on William Hill Poker. It was got on the turn (I'm still yet to flop a royal flush). I bet and they folded. I have automuck enabled so I never even got to show it off. I was tempted just to check down, so as I could do that, a better play in hindsight, might have picked off a 'snipe' bet.

Anyway, seems royal flushes are, errrm, on the cards.

That's it, cycling into work really does help with your poker. More blood in the brain, no errr, more oxygen in the blood in the brain.

I too have had several consecutive winning weeks with pedal power.

Those are nice cards Cardinal.

I read about the billionth hand freeroll on the site last night and it seems very generous of them.

I really hope it isn't the case of first 6000 players to earn 50 player points recieve automatic entry because that wouldn't be fair. Hence, all the players who play for higher stakes would earn pp alot quicker than someone like myself who plays 5/10, 15/30 or if I'm feelin rich 50/$1.

Maybe they will/should let everyone earn their points then open the tourny an hour before and have it as a case of first come first served.

I watched a couple of hands after I was eliminated but the other half wanted to go on the pc. Maybe it was a good thing you folding A, 6 when he had 4, 4.........good win though mate although the prize money wasn't great. :D

When I ask to be your 'buddy' does it prompt you to accept?

Anyway, I'll be back on later probably in the 6pm $3 $2500GTD first hour lottery!! :P

Yeah it is strange, I had about 7 people wanting to be buddies so I 'accepted all' and it left you and another person out. :?

After that FT I had the most horrendous run of bad luck. Losing money in cash games to fish and getting k.o'd in tourneys with big pairs - who calls an all in bet (after a raise) second hand with a pair of 3's in a freezeout? some muppet did and took my KK out with a flukey straight on the river. :x :x :(

Its only a game and better luck today I hope. :D
