i dont force them to go all red before taking the pot
I've never done this.

If the 'old school' Reds are 'red' to start with, all's well and good. If they're going through the £5 block and are not red, all well and good. If they fob you off at the £5 mark, I'll usually take a hike.

I think I stated elsewhere that 'the majority' of good tops / profit I've had from Reds recently has been from non-red boards. ;)

TBH though, the 'latest' Red that I've played to any extent is still Vortex. Dabbled with SMTMs and SnLs, but not even seen any of the newer ones.

Don't even need to be through the £5 block for profit to be had. Sometimes the £5 block is pretty much all their is before it goes.
Vortex there just isn't really a block anywhere except SS to MS.
I watch for what features it's offering before deciding on a force from non red.

Yep, massive £5er block. Seems a bit sporadic after though.

Should really give it 2 bashes at the fiver block tho, these can random death even when flying, played one yesterday, first gamble dead at £5(was full) tried for another, went up to £10, next board arb £20 in for £70 top.
