We should put together an exciting top 10 of itboxes based on screen responsiveness.dmac wrote:I find that even on a screen where Scrabble is playing perfectly, this tends to stick. After submitting a word, unless you leave some time, it's liable to not record the first letter of the next word.
Here's my current no.1:
Congratulations to the operators, engineers and staff who made it all possible for...
THE ROYAL GEORGE - EUSTON
I looked this up on beerintheevening to see which one it was and two things tickled me. One, this guy's review of the place:roberto la vigna wrote:THE ROYAL GEORGE - EUSTON
"Quite the most fragrant toilets I have ever had the pleasure of urinating in. Literally 100 years of the good patrons piss left to grow and nuture in to something magnificently horrific. Go on, have a smell.
Decent enough pub though - but the Erdinger tasted like bubble bath."
I'd hate to know what a pub has to do to NOT be rated as "decent enough" by that guy!
Two, the description of the quiz machine:
"Quiz machines (Underground)"
This is I presume a very out-of-date reference to the old standalone Underground game, rather than an indication that you have to go down to the cellar to play their ItBoxes...?
