One thing i can't grasp is why there are never any games involving numbers.
You get your word ups, your scabbles, your word walls etc. But never anything for the more numerically inclined people.
Is there any particular reason for this? Would a numeracy game be more likely to be beaten than a word game? Or is there simply no market for numbers games.
For instance a countdown numbers game would go down very well in the drpepper area.

Games involving numbers...
There are some games with numbers sections aren't there? For example, Big Match involved a sums section, Countdown had the numbers section and (more currently) Caesar's Palace has a numbers skill game. I accept they are not purely numerical but they are something. If I were a manufacturer I'd be nervous about putting out a numbers-only game because quite a few people would be able absolutely to cane it, I suspect.

i think Grecian is spot on.
art vs science is one of my favourite things to be curmudgeonly about.
numbers are a science and it it possible to be 100% correct. with arts, a masterpiece is never finished, only abandoned.
a WU clone sum up was around briefly but i guess it did not prove popular enough.

nobody ever wins on those things.
