Is this the work of anyone here? I fear it'll take quite a bit of work to make it at all useful...

Yeah some bright spark created this a while back. Unsurprisingly, no one else joined in.

Yes they've got three questions for DOND - with added questions. I fear that the £20 jackpot, nay, endgame will remain elusive for several more aeons.

it is a good idea but i doubt whether anyone has the time to update it properly and stay in the loop.

a Word Up page is on wikipedia but despite it being one of a kind, it is still (bad choice of word) out of date.

i should do more editing on there but only dip in when i am idle at work.
one thing that i'd like to see is a comprehensive list of animals, their cry, their young and their m/f names

e.g.

cat: miaou/miaow; kitten (mewl); tom/queen

i made a page of the cries once but it was hijacked by fules who wouldn't believe that the yellowhammer says "a little bit of bread and no cheese"

it is a pity.
nobody ever wins on those things.

The site has hardly been added to since it was created in August 2006.

A simple Whois query reveals the site's owner is Alan Newman who is registered as a non-trading individual.

Well the article may be under scrutiny by putting 'DaVinci Code' in there.
