After all the festivities of yesterday there's a full football programme today. For those of you who can resist having a bet for the sake of it, the value in the Premiership is clearly tomorrow's match at Eastlands. City 10/11 high street, 2.24 Betfair. This has home banker written all over it. Have patience you bettors. Watch footy today, bet tomorrow.

That late, questionable goal at City certainly cost us, but can't really complain since I've had late, questionable goals that have gone for me in the past. Bankroll coming into use here as last 3 have all gone down.

Everton look the value today - 2/1 down the high street, but a decent 3.7 on Betfair to turn the gooners over. Everton home form is very, very good and Arsenal haven't been looking great recently on the road, draws at Pompey & Newcastle plus a defeat at Boro in last 3 games.

Having said that, they've still only lost 1 away all season. Go for Everton to make it 2.

Smudge may have a point about Norwich. Roeder has turned it round there and anybody that backs against Wolves consistently will make money over a season. I'd lay Wolves rather than back Norwich though, giving you the draw as well.

Thanks for the tip Quizmaster, decided to lay Wolves as you suggested for a small proffit, your Everton tip looked good at half time!!!!!

Ouch - that second half from Arsenal was enough to scupper us and now we're back to +£321 in the pot, which whilst still good, it's the worst run of the season so far with 4 blanks on the bounce.

Let's stick with Everton. They'll bounce back today (they will score against Boro, so it's more a question of can Boro score against them?)

7/5 high street, 2.5 Betfair. Southgate a wanker. Consider backing against Boro every game (i.e laying Boro) until he gets the sack - you'll make money.

If you ask me boro are too unpredictable to bet on with any certainty... losing to west ham after spanking arsenal, not really my cup of tea.

I'd go for pompy to do reading over.

Unfortunately I learned a long time ago that 3rd Rd FA Cup weekend is a big no no for betting since team selection is often all over the place. Save your £20 and I'll give you a double next Premiership Saturday.
