I'm not a proper quiz player, but the local has two ITBOX's both loaded with issue 55 today, I assume! Anyway, on both, Hells Bells has been moved, the scores are wiped, and £20 prize is (was he he) at 400 points, so, two questions away from jackpot. Very easy money, but you'll get one shot only!!

Make hay while the sun shines, go check all your issue 55's, and good luck.

Anyone else found this? I've tested HB at about three venues now and all were resolutely as they were pre-55 - i.e. the easy money had been taken out by me when 54 got put in and they weren't paying.

I had a go on two different machines, but am yet to see this. Now that would have been a fine ItBox Christmas present.

Surely Hells Bells having the Jackpot at just 400 points is a software/installation error on the machines at that pub, which may not be repeated anywhere else? It simply can't be the case that machines are deliberately put out these days with free money available to that extreme extent.

i agree with NS, not just cos of the sese he makes either!!

i have seen two HBs where the prize line was mangled so that 4 or 5 questions led to a 15 & a 20.

Unfortunately not widespread.

Did, however, vebture to the sticks on monday where 90% of the HBs were very much on!!! Just keep looking.......
