100% for "Most of them are" at the moment. I particularly dislike their pronounciation of bologna as 'baloney', and the fact they profess to love cheese, when the only cheese they have is a horrible yellow rubbery one in squares, and something nasty and watery called "Swiss".
Disliked them since I went to America to pick up some cheap beer (when I was in Canada last season) took 2hrs to get through customs. Finger prints, palm prints, photos, car search, phone searched and then $12 visa fee. The beer was shit too
How about the pronunciation of Leiutenant, or the spelling/pronunciation of Aluminium?
Was on the tube about six months ago when a group of VERY loud Americans embarked shouting to each other they had to get off at Leicester Square. The problem with that? They announced to the trains (both platforms could hear...) they were off to Leichestr Sqwuayre.
in place names they also pronouce ham as if it is the be-all-and-end-all of the universe.
