The one in Northampton services was chipped recently and it soon left after that.

There is a way to tell if it's chipped. Basically when it's happy it'll slip off at £4, when it's dead it'll slip off at £2. Upgraded PAR is always a £4 slip, but can be six+ if happy. Sometimes the three Vamps will go red and you can play for the Mega Streak, then switch to 50p stake and the big Vamp will drop in on the final reel for a deal on pick a real Peter Piper picked a pickled pick a reel. Some people play Vamp on 10p stake. There was one in Birchanger Green services at 10p stake. There is one in Loughborough Showboat at 25p stake. To switch stakes you can either press the stake change button or catch the X35 time machine bus back to Birchanger.
If it offers Vamp or no Vamp, be aggressive as a deal at one nudge and Mega will be about £18.
Not all the £35 Vamps are chipped and it's fairly easy to try. Once you get the board, look at the set up. If it's one billion nudges just to not get a red bonus, and that continues and you do get upgraded 50/50PAR, just whack it in and hopefully you'll get the bell for £35. Don't listen to fools that tell you the bell must be on reel 6 and five balloons across the winline. If the bell is there it'll go. If it slips on the fourth whirly, then it's chipped.
Alternatively play for the coconut shy feature two squares away from the win stopper. There is a key press there that'll get you all the coconuts, let it spin on barcode, cancel the nudges, exchange in on blue, hold down cancel, look out for three time holds, press Vamp it up and collect and you'll get the power of pick a reel every time. Just deal at £25 on the Barcrests, you won't get a repeat unless you can hit reel skill on that 3 bonus, gamble up on a 12 from triple bars, tool the Slotto, smash up the B3 Rainbow Riches, buy an emptier for walk of Wealth and Hall of Fame, rob a bank, become a property billionaire, buy out Alan Sugar, then Bill Gates and pop over to Barbados for two weeks, whilst working out the tax havens. Hope that helps,

I can't believe I forgot Mega Spins! That gamble from £25+repeat chance to the air conditioning unit in the arcade is a bastard. I always get done on a 2 and end up hot and sticky.

50p play Mega Spins - lol! Roll a one and it's super PAR every time! You can empty it like this which is unfair, so I plug it unless it rolls in 2 which is super Tutti Frutti or a 3 which is super Cash Attack.

LOL yes of course we all know about PAR, both of us have been doing em for quite a while.

All he was asking was is there a way to tell if its unchipped before attempting the method, which is fair enough is it not, reasonable question in my opinion, Damn, i coulda asked it myself and i assume i wouldnt have got ripped like that.

BTW the oak, rara is ok, i know the way he appears on the forum but hes ok in real life, i play with him quite a lot and hes a good guy.

PAR is the first feature on vamp it up, which, when the machine was dead, on the first version would give wins it wasnt supposed too.

Pretty awkward method to say the least and you never knew when exactly the best time to leave it was.

hmm.. best time to leave it was when it stopped numbering on the sets upon feature entry.. as we used to coin "an army of 1's".

I got a VIU near my work is a dodgy old pub. It seems old as only £25 jp and no note changer or megaspins. Do you think its unchipped? Possibly. Will have to give it a go
