Can someone please explain to me how Swedish birds are soooo lovely? I honestly didn't see one ugly one the entire time I was there. Even the tramps were well-presented....

yes i will 2nd that motion, spent 4 days in Stockholm last summer, amazing place, expensive yes but you get what you pay for, well educated people that can speak english nearly as well as us, clean safe and yes the females are something else, plus a bonus for me is they seem to have a massive following of rock music over there...

I work a standard 9-5pm 5 days a week as a "professional". I am however, studying a correspondence course in Reading Uni (career related) which my firm pays for, only attend about 10 days a year.

Didn't go there. Sort of had a self appointed guide who showed us around and brought her mates out too. Had lots of plans but once we got over there they all went out the window, just ate and drank where every we found ourselves, it was about 18 months ago.
Got a trip booked in for 4 days in October staying in Malmo (not sure of spelling, mate booked it), which is apparently only 40 min away from Copenhagen. So planning on crossing the boarder for a night in Denmark. Great people, as already said friendly and knowledgeable not to mention easy on the eye. Spent 1K in four day's though.

One of my aunts works for the Biritsh Embassy. After 5 years in Rome, she's recently moved to Stockholm! She's in charge of anyone british who gets into trouble out there. She gets a free 3 floored flat on the same street as the royal family in the middle of Stockholm too - nice work if you can get it eh! :P I shall be off out there later this year, and very much look forward to it. I've met a few scandinavian people (Norwegian and Finnish) in my time and find them really friendly, and quality at english. Great place, great people!

Why are Swedish lassies so fit? Is it because of their higher standard of living? Their diet? Their outlook on life?
The Swedes are miles ahead of us in many respects, such as their treatment of people with learning disabilities, their attitude to foreign immigrants and their impact on their environment. I'd love to live there - I just don't think I could afford it!

I was actually looking for another amusing Ikea advert when I found this instead, and it's certainly not politically correct EWQ! (although I personally have no problem listening to any politically incorrect explanations)
