Don't see the point when you can buy a US version for 200 notes less and then just buy the US games for it (also cheaper then the European ones). Still plays region 5 DVD's anyway

Sony are about to release a Blu-Ray player for about half the price if that's all you're interested in. ;)

Wait for it to come down. Sony are playing a rather dangerous game at the moment, mostly because they don't want to hurt sales of the PS2. which is still selling pretty well. Once that curve has dropped off, the PS3 will come down.

A fair number of titles that were going to be released soon after launch have been put back too. The opinion seems to be that this is because the publishers see no reason in rushing out a buggy version when so few consoles have been sold, so they're spending from now until Christmas making them better.

And a free taxi home apparently...

Total rip-off though. The Japs only had to pay the equivalent of £250 I believe. Shocking.

They'll go down in price, i'm not that impressed with the release titles anyway except maybe ridge racer.

I remember buying the Nintendo 64 round about it's release for £250, 2 months later it goes for £150, then maybe a few months later £100, games come down, more games available then it went down to £50.

In retrospect except for mario 64 and goldeneye it was fairly s*** anyway lol.

I think you have to be pretty mad to buy one at the current price!
The wait is on...
