On Sunday, I managed to get all the features red on a LAB and it went for £75. I was very little in, so I resisted the temptation to see the next board. As it happened, it turned out to be the final credit too.
I collected and was scooping the coins out of the payout tray, and it started to flash in attract mode again, as it does. All ten features were still glowing red while attract mode was flashing around it. It never flashed them green at all, and half an hour later - after I'd played a different machine for a while - I glanced back over.
Attract mode was still showing them all glowing red and, when it snapped out of attract and into 'Insert 20p to Play', it darkened everything to black EXCEPT the 10 red feature lights and made it patently obvious what I'd managed to acheive beforehand.
So I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's some truth in the 'key-it-before-you-touch-it' theory...

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
