football officials are officially shite..

Post by mjd »

Well, 1st Jermaine Defoe, now That new west Ham striker..

Pennant Robbed from behind (foul) and offside! I mean how much more evidence to referees need!? If the striker gets on the end of a square pass (which is forward a bit) before the tracking defender who is last man, then how can it be onside..!!

Yes Im biased.. I wanted liverpool to keep a clean sheet for my fantasy team.. but look at Vidic vs Portsmouth, and loads of other crap we see week in week out.

Its like cricket, theres no need for an umpire... not a lot of need for refs and linesmans either..

what a joke - you won didnt you??

we've been robbed in our last 2 games costing us 4 points which would have us out of the relegation zone and your talking bollocks about 1 measily goal!

Fader - I always feel a tinge of pain when I see WH losing... It's well known that they are NOT my team of choice, but I've always had a soft spot for 'em - really hope they manage to stay up mate! Watford are dead certs for the down, and I reckon Charlton are pretty much also going, but who's going to take that third spot. A few wins (and other helpful results!) and you'd be outta there no problem!

:)

sorry Fader, It was all Fantasy Footy related, nothing against west ham, I just felt that goal shouldn't of stood! cost me team a lot of points, (the other league im in is a bit of a war at the moment!).

I do think Refereeing has been appauling this season on the whole though.
A game never goes by without controversy, too many wrong decisions. Gets frustrating!

We had a Mr. East and Mr. West running the lines at Fulham yesterday!

Thank the lord for Titus Bramble - bumbling centre half extraordinaire - ensuring us another three points and a 12 point gap to the relegation zone :)

Good old titfuck bramble, he's cost newcastle at least 6 points this season (2 blunders to let a 1-0 become 2-1) and various other blunders.

Got to be said though, that offside against west ham that wasn't given has to be the worst decision I've ever seen.

I just for his sake hope that he thought the guy that let the ball go under him was onside.. cause if he thought he wasn't interfering with play then he shouldn't be allowed near a football game.
