I personally love the 50p / £25 ones more. I've got a quality On A Roll here that just goes nuts on the 50p mega spin. Every time you get in with 9 nudges / 12 nudges its like a £5 board! Had £75 and £65 from it now from not a lot in, and am very impressed.
Not had a chance to dapple with the £35s, but i imagine some are ok. Extremes are bad again, but i reckon reds are just even stronger. Some new crests and i think the transition will be a successful one

There's something quite attractive about that Mental Money Martians - always had a good result on this. The red MMM streak has gone for £75 a good 4 times for me!
Agree that the 50p/£25 Reds (my experience is only On A Roll) are worth playing, allthough two of the three I've been on have the 'Spin Select' buttons have been knackered. (Is this a secret operator trick to prevent Mega Spin play, which as mentioned above does mean pretty much every board offers £5-£7 from the off?!?!)

Not got stuck in to these yet but will after reading these comments.
One small point that detracts from the "fruit-step" red on 50P however, is that the feature automatically starts with "Safe" activated (Crazy Cash Point). Meaning that CCP and future clones would have to be forced on 30P……….persumably?

Playing it on 50p spin, after £6 in I got a cherry fruit win which went to the turbo gamble and lost first press. 'HOLD AGAIN' flashes on the alpha, which I did, going back to the turbo gamble, then it kills again on the first gamble. What's the bloody point in that?
When I eventually got on the feature (after another cherry fruit win succesfully gambling to the exchange point), I managed to get a no lose bonus, I stepped to a 2 and went lower with NO LOSE still lit, the machine froze for 2 seconds then brought in a 6, killing off the feature. Never playing that lump of shit again.
That Rovers Return is by no means a poor machine - much better than some of the older versions. The two or three times I have played it, I get the red features quite high, but I can't remember how far down "that jackpot feature" is. As, per usual, the feature names have absolutely no relevance to what they actually entail...
